Tomorrowland is a Belgian electronic dance music festival staged in the De Schorre recreational park in Boom. Since its first edition in 2005 it has grown from a local dance event into one of the most recognisable music festivals in the world, defined by its elaborate, almost cinematic stage design and its carefully constructed sense of fantasy.
Every edition is built around a new narrative theme, which shapes the decoration, the props, the costumes of the crew and above all the main stage — a sculpted structure of towers, waterfalls, mechanical creatures and pyrotechnics that is rebuilt from scratch each year and considered a benchmark for the entire industry.
Around it sit more than sixteen themed arenas covering house, techno, trance, hardstyle, drum and bass and much more, with over a thousand artists on the bill and a crowd drawn from more than 200 countries. The DreamVille camping village next door turns the whole thing into a temporary town with its own food courts, spas and stages. Registration, line-ups and travel packages are handled entirely on the official festival platform.
